DATA

Overview

IoT Devices

The Consynergy system draws upon various data sources from both cyber and physical systems to manage customer generation, energy dispatch, device configuration, and user information such as property data, device information, and payment information.
The capture of real-world data from IoT devices such as inverters and other smart grid equipment represents a significant amount of data that if stored on-chain, would affect scalability of the blockchain solution. Therefore, considerations need to be sought in selecting what data is stored on and off chain.
